How do I book a DJ and what is the process?

Start with an initial consultation to discuss your event, preferred music and logistics, followed by a booking agreement and deposit to secure the date. We then plan a detailed run sheet and music selections with you ahead of the event.

Are your DJs all female?

Do you provide equipment and lighting?

Yes — we supply professional sound systems, wireless microphones and lighting tailored to venue size and event type. Backup equipment is carried to reduce the risk of technical issues during the event.

Can you create a customised playlist and accept guest requests?

Absolutely — we build personalised playlists from your guidance, including must-play and do-not-play lists, and will manage guest requests during the event to fit the mood. Pre-event consultations ensure the music reflects your taste.

Do you handle corporate events and branded requirements?

Yes, we work with corporate clients on branded experiences, announcements and tailored music suited to the occasion. We collaborate with event teams to meet timings, tone and any AV requirements.

What areas do you cover and are travel costs included?

We primarily serve London, UK and surrounding areas including Surrey, with travel arrangements available for further locations. Travel fees may apply for distant venues and are confirmed at booking.

What happens if a DJ is unable to perform on the day?

Our contracts outline contingency plans, and we maintain a roster of trusted DJs to provide a suitable replacement if necessary. We also bring backup equipment to minimise disruption from technical faults.

My wife and I were lucky enough to have Laura DJ at our wedding in May of 2025. It’s a bit of a cliché, but people often say they wish they spent more time at their wedding talking to guests. That rings true for us too, but only because we couldn’t stay off the dance floor! Despite having to balance two very different music tastes, Laura curated the perfect set. It's something our friends and family still bring up every time we reminisce about the day. Beyond absolutely smashing the music, Laura was a joy to work with. Before the wedding, we had a kick-off call that left us feeling totally reassured and excited. On the day, she was the consummate professional - handling a slightly tricky load-in and nailing every key moment, from the first dance onward. She even went above and beyond by capturing some behind-the-decks video footage, which beautifully captured the atmosphere of the evening. It's something we’ll always treasure. Laura was brilliant from start to finish. We couldn't have asked for a better person to set the perfect tone for our wedding. She was on hand before the wedding to answer all our questions and had a questionnaire to fill out to ensure the music was spot on. Danielle (@missdjdeed) from SpinSisters was the perfect DJ for our wedding. From our first call, it was clear she understood the kind of music we wanted and the atmosphere we hoped to create. She took the time to listen to our preferences and made sure the playlist was exactly what we envisioned. Danielle was so positive and genuinely invested in making sure everyone had a great time. It was almost like having a close friend behind the decks who knew exactly what would keep everyone on the dance floor. We also appreciated how much thought she put into the final songs of the night. We had an idea of how we wanted to wrap things up but weren’t sure about the specific tracks. Danielle gave us some great suggestions that made the night finish on a high. The booking process was easy and smooth, thanks to Laura, the company director. Everything was handled professionally, making the whole experience stress-free and enjoyable. As a nice bonus, Danielle took some great videos during the event and shared them with us afterward. It was a thoughtful touch that we really appreciated. Amazing experience with Spin Sisters - excellent organisation before the day and brilliant delivery on the day. We were given a choice of DJ for a birthday party, we picked Amanda and she was fantastic. Amanda took time to understand the event and the venue and was a massive hit with everyone on the night.
